Catalyze New Models

Fuel fresh designs that fit local contexts and transform the high school experience to put success within reach of all students across New England.

Our approach

The Education Program seeks to advance greater success for all students by nurturing the development and expansion of high-quality, personalized high school models that are grounded in positive youth development theory.

We partner with education and community leaders, intermediaries, and researchers to:

  • Connect & Understand: Provide opportunities (e.g., school visits) for stakeholders to learn and be inspired about the possibility of new high school models
  • Design & Plan: Engage school teams in a deep, stakeholder-driven high school design and planning processes that are anchored in students’ strengths, interests, and needs
  • Implement & Iterate: Support school teams to launch and continuously evolve new school models to support all students to be successful in and beyond high school
  • Research, Reflect, & Share: Distill insights from partners and support new research to advance the work to create excellent high school models
