Organizational Wellness
Enabling the Conditions for Wellness
Organizations are better equipped to meet their missions when their staff feel supported, valued, and able to thrive. The Organizational Wellness Program recognizes and supports nonprofit organizations that are intentionally investing in the wellbeing of their staff, culture, and workplace practices as a foundation for achieving greater mission impact. By investing in the policies and practices that support healthier ways of operating, the program seeks to strengthen the health, resilience, and long-term effectiveness of the sector.
With this pilot initiative, Barr is excited to support five nonprofit organizations as they work to more intentionally embed resilience policies and practices that promote wellness, wellbeing, and professional growth so that their staff thrive and are better positioned to deliver on their organizational missions.
