Moving Cooler: An Analysis of Transportation Strategies

Moving Cooler examines over 50 strategies for transportation reform.

Transportation is one of the top two sources of emissions in the United States. The Moving Cooler report analyzes the potential costs and effectiveness of a broad variety of transportation strategies—under a wide range of different assumptions—to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Recognizing that considerable research has already been conducted on efforts to improve vehicle efficiency and fuels Moving Cooler focuses on strategies for reducing vehicle miles traveled improving more efficient transit options and improving the efficiency of the transportation network.
