Barr Seeks Communications Coordinator

Opportunity for an early career professional who is passionate about storytelling.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and capable doer who is motivated to use their talents to improve the world.

The Communications Coordinator will join a highly collaborative and nimble team and report to the Communications Officer. The Coordinator will grow the Communications Team at an exciting time of growth and evolution for Barr overall.

They will play a vital role in helping Barr staff and partners tell stories of Barr-supported work in the arts, education, and climate sectors in order to raise awareness and move audiences to action.

The Communications Coordinator will help Barr staff translate their ideas, experiences, and writings into visually engaging, accessible formats, such as PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, short videos, blog posts, graphic art, event invitations, and email blasts.

Competency desired in media arts production, communication studies, marketing communications, film/video production, journalism, advertising, or a related field.
