Tim Chiong
Senior Accountant
Tim joined Barr as a Senior Accountant in July 2019. His primary experience in accounting has been in the financial services and investment industry. He has experience in a wide variety of investments products, including private equity, hedge, fixed income, and real estate.
Prior to Barr, Tim worked for three years at UC Funds LLC where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of private equity real estate funds. Tim has worked for other financial firms, like State Street Alternative Investment Solutions and Citi Private Equity Services.
In 2010, Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University’s Lucas School of Business. After college, he pursued his passion for investments by becoming a CFA charter holder. Outside of work Tim enjoys fishing, going to the Cape, rooting for Boston sports teams, and playing rugby.
