This study of nonprofit organizations who have participated in sabbatical programs provides emerging evidence that executive director sabbaticals can strengthen the organization—and the sector. Commissioned by the Alston/Bannerman Fellowship Program; the Barr Foundation; the Durfee Foundation; the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund; the Virginia G.
